I am heading into cooler months and have completed my A race. I want to work on my weakness this season, which is sustained power efforts and build my FTP–where I live we cycle outdoors year round.
I was planning to do the 6 week power builder training program, but not sure that’s best for me given my strength is MAP and anaerobic, and I live in very hilly country where most every ride involves climbs of at least 1000m.
I am doing an updated 4dp this week so will use whatever training I do based on those numbers.
I am looking to add in muscle training once or twice a week. And plan to ride 4 days a week–2 or 3 days indoor training and 1-2 outdoors on the weekend.
What suggestions have you?
